Thanks for the Hagel lecture on Friday. It provided great historical context and the current challenges. Professor, you did a great job interviewing Hagel and Campbell.
One interesting tidbit (about 59min into the video) from Campbell:
"I think almost invariably there will be some sort of tithing associated with the ships - Mm . . . and the petroleum that is leaving the Persian Gulf."
Interesting choice of "Tithing" vs "toll-collecting" or "surcharge".
While the major concern from US and Israel continues to be Iran building an A-bomb, they provided Iran with plans for an H-bomb. In this case, the "H" represents control of the Strait of Hormuz.
