I have listened to your interviews and now subscribe here to get more details of which I enjoy. However I don’t enjoy how this is escalating and where this seems to be headed. I feel you are dead on correct as the USA has less and less leverage now with our military supplies of missles depleted by Ukraine and now this conflict.

If I’m these countries in the Persian gulf I would be letting us military know they this isn’t working any longer.

Trump has put us in a very small corner and this isn’t going to end well my opinion. This will escalate into the summer months without a doubt. We are cornered!

If the evidence of Iranian dominance over its neighbors is through pursuing the removal of US military presence, then Iran’s pursuit of regional dominance can be viewed as a defensive measure rather than an act of bullying Arab neighbors. The US has been threatening Iran for decades.

With that in mind, what makes viewing Irans actions “through the lens of deterrence” ineffective? Is it that regarding their strategy as deterrence underestimates their abilities?
